My Approach

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen and supported. My approach is centered on meeting clients where they are and honoring their unique experiences, strengths, and identities. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions openly while moving toward growth and healing at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.

My Client focus

I work with teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals from diverse and marginalized backgrounds, including clients from mixed-status families, undocumented students, and individuals with disabilities. As a bilingual therapist, I offer services in English and Spanish, allowing clients to express themselves fully and authentically.

My Communication Style

My communication style is gentle, affirming, and collaborative. I prioritize creating a space where clients feel heard, validated, and respected. While I honor each client’s pace and comfort level, I also offer thoughtful reflection and encouragement to help clients gain insight and confidence as they move forward.

How I Help Clients Reach Goals

I help clients reach their goals by blending emotional support with practical tools. My work draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness strategies, strengths-based practices, and solution-focused interventions. Together, we focus on building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and strengthening resilience so clients feel more equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

My Journey To Becoming a Provider

I am a bilingual Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) based in Southern California. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Cal State Los Angeles, where I supported middle and high school students through individual sessions. I later earned my master’s degree in Social Work from Cal State Long Beach, where I interned as a mental health therapist at a community college.

I have also worked in nonprofit settings supporting unhoused individuals and those in Section 8 housing. These experiences have deeply shaped my commitment to serving BIPOC communities and creating spaces where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to heal.

My First Session With Clients

The first session is a time to begin building trust and connection. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to work through, and what support looks like for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the work ahead.
