My Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in genuine care for each client I work with. I am deeply committed to creating a space where individuals feel supported, respected, and empowered to engage in their healing process. My work has been shaped by experience in community mental health settings, which reinforced the importance of meeting clients where they are and helping them move forward at a pace that feels right for them.

My Client focus

I work primarily with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or feeling unheard or unseen. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by daily pressures or unsure of how to move forward. As a bilingual therapist, I also value supporting individuals who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in either English or Spanish, and I care deeply about helping all clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, and feel empowered in their emotional well-being.

My Communication Style

My communication style is warm, supportive, and encouraging. I strive to help clients feel comfortable, understood, and validated while also fostering a sense of empowerment. I value open dialogue and collaboration, ensuring clients feel actively involved in their therapy rather than simply guided through it.

How I Help Clients Reach Goals

I help clients reach their goals by combining emotional support with practical tools that promote empowerment and resilience. Through evidence-based practices and mindfulness skills, I work to reduce anxiety, explore the roots of depression, and help clients regain a sense of balance and control in their lives. Throughout therapy, I encourage clients to recognize their own growth and strengths as they move toward meaningful change.

My Journey To Becoming a Provider

My journey into the mental health field began in community mental health settings, where I developed a deep appreciation for walking alongside individuals through challenging life experiences. Being driven by a desire to empower, support, and advocate for those whose voices often go unheard led me to pursue this work. These experiences continue to shape my commitment to caring for clients with compassion, intention, and respect.

My First Session With Clients

The first session is an opportunity to begin building trust and connection. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to work on, and what feeling supported and empowered in therapy looks like for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, encouraged, and clear about the next steps in our work together.
